So many times we feel like Khomar. For every victory, there is a valley that seems darker than the one before. It is in times like these that we have to remind ourselves of the victories that have come before. God has yet to fail us and He won’t in future either. Even when we don’t understand the why’s and wherefore’s, we can trust in the One who holds the future.
Such was these past few weeks. We had a full week without children and got a ton of writing done only to get sick the following week. Of course, this hampered our writing considerably. Then we had a great vacation visiting with family but again very little writing was done. While this wasn’t a major valley, it was a little depressing to have all the ideas and no time to write them down. We’ve got the bones of the story in our heads, but a lot of work goes into fleshing it out. So, now that we are home again, we are pressing forward, trying to breathe life into the story, working toward the end of the book.
