Updates and News

It has been a wild few months since we posted last! We moved into a new house last April and just now finished setting up our writing nook away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. Life has moved at a rapid clip, and I was just telling M. the other day that I had made a blog post last month. As I can see from my logs, it’s been more like 3 months. Between kids moving out and moving back, vacations, and other less fun life happenings, time slipped away. So some quick updates for you all.

First our new series will not release until next year. We have been too busy to devote as much time to it as we needed to get it ready this year. However, our new writing nook is allowing us more time to focus on writing without distractions. The framing of The Watersong Saga (the entire series) is coming along well, and we are looking forward to sharing the first book with you next year. We’ll try to keep you updated on release dates and happenings.

The next piece of news is that an audiobook is coming! I am hard at work recording Elvensty and am looking at a possible release of that audiobook next year. It has been a steep learning curve, but I am getting better at it. I am grateful to my high school choir teacher for teaching me breath support, breath phrasing, and enunciation. All have come into play for creating this audiobook. While I’m only at Chapter 6, I’m finding that things are going faster now that I actually know what I’m doing.

And lastly, the Elvensty ebook is on sale through Tuesday! Check it out on Amazon!

  1. he M.B aznow I really think your book is cool and I would like to read the water song saga and see what happens next and I know you used to go to our church faith center (now Antioch church) but seriously I read it from cover to cover every single book and I need to know what happens next I mean does khondras get older and start his own journey does khomar and aya have another kid like who dies of old age you know stuff like that but I seriously love you book thanks a million (P.S I’m going to read every book again)

    • We are so glad that you enjoyed The Swordflower Saga and remember our days at Antioch fondly. As to what happens next, all I can say is that Khondras does grow up and has his own journey as he tries to fill his father’s shoes. However, the Watersong Saga will be about his youngest brother, Tyrinian so you will only see Khondras play a minor part in that series. We have a bunch of notes and even family trees made for The Watersong Saga, but unfortunately, M. and I have had to shelve that series. We will visit it again, though, never fear! And hopefully you’ll get a bit of what happens next to our favorite characters.

God laid a new series on our hearts which we are actively writing at the moment. We hope to put out a teaser for it soon so everyone can see what we are working on, and I think it will be an exciting change of pace with new characters to love especially if you like centaurs and fauns. We will be doing a book signing near you at the end of March so keep an eye on our webpage for the exact dates and times if you’d like to swing by The Foot of The Cross Bookstore and chat with us more.

  2. also did you get yesu from yeshua because if you did love the word play

    • Yesu takes it’s inspiration from the German word for Jesus – Jesu – so you can definitely see where Yeshua and Yesu are related closely to one another.

  3. so cool I’m so happy that god is leading you through this thanks
